Pestamajlis is an event services marketplace.  We bring together Vendor and Customer to help celebrate special life moments. We use innovative technology to help make the process frictionless.

As Customer you should expect to receive full transparency in the price and availability of the item.

As Vendor you can receive a steady flow of rentals to generate an additional income stream.

  1. You Save Money. Suppliers who list their items on this site avoid overhead costs like storefronts, website hosting, extra manpower, and advertising. You get their best rate.  It’s like getting your rentals and event services on sale every single time!
  2. More Unique Options. Explore dozens of unique vendors and thousands of distinctive items and services you won’t find elsewhere. Many of these rentals are custom-made by individual vendors, offering exclusive products and services you won’t find anywhere else!

  3. Support Local Home Businesses. These are passionate and creative people in your community that have event service and party supply rentals to share.  You can become a vendor as well!

  4. Complete Transparency.  Unlike other places, where you often have to call in or submit an online form, here you can easily check availability directly on the calendar for each item. This lets you see if it’s available for your event dates and lock in the price. You can secure your event rentals and services instantly online with no hassle.

Setting up an account is free of charge.

  1. Click “Sign Up” in the top-right corner of the page. You can choose to sign up with Google, Facebook or email address.
  2. Complete your profile by verifying your identity and filling in all required information.
  3. You’re registered as an user and start rent or buying services from the vendors.

We are not a rental store.   This is an online-only marketplace – a listing site that allows local vendors to share their event supply services with you.  We do not provide the items on the site.   All event rentals and services, and any rental and services agreements are made with the actual vendor to whom the item belongs to.

It’s designed to be as simple as possible. Browse local event supply services in your state, select the dates, and add items to your shopping cart. Once you have everything you need, just check out, pay online, and look for a confirmation email in your inbox

For Rentals:  Each vendor will contact you to schedule pickup.  If you need delivery you can request a delivery quote during the checkout process. Not all vendors deliver so if this is important to you, check with the vendor(s) in advance and make the appropriate arrangements for your rentals.

For Services: Each Vendor will contact you discuss further on their event related services that you purchased.

No.  The price listed during check-out on the site is the only thing Customer pay

This is always an important point when renting in advance for your events.  Each vendor will have their own cancellation policy that is outlined in their profile along with other details about their rentals (delivery options, other locations, rental terms, etc…).  If you can’t find their cancellation policy or other policies, then the policy reverts to the standard site policy described here.

You can contact any vendor on the site using the “contact” button on their profile or item pages, or through the Contact Vendor option.

You can also use the same page to reach out to Pestamajlis Support with any questions you have. While we don’t have information about the items or services, we can assist with most other inquiries!

We don’t have a mobile app, but our website is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that functions like a regular app

The three main ways you can use Pestamajlis is as a:

  • customer looking to find great event items and event services
  • vendor looking to rent out your inventory or sell your services related to event industry
  • artists (decorators, photographers, event coordinators) looking to share pictures and stories for inspiration

Payment

Security Deposit is set by the Vendor on each event supply services.  

No, Pestamajlis will hold the payment made by Customer and will release after the order completion. So no worries Vendor will take the money and not deliver event supply services.

Customer’s Security Deposit will be refunded within 48 hours after the Customer click on the order completion. This option is only available after the Vendor confirms that the rentals has been returned in good condition.

Yes, we charge service fee of 5% on all transactions to buyer.  No other fee for using the site as a buyer.

Rental

Request for photos/video of the rentals from the Vendor before placing an order. Ensure satisfy before placing an order

Ensure to secure the rentals during delivery. If third-party logistics is being used, ensure they know the responsibility since they represent you. You are liable for any issue during delivery.

Customer and Vendor have to determine which party is at fault. Vendor is responsible until their storefront/warehouse. Once out of Vendor’s storefront/warehouse/premise, Customer is fully responsible until the rentals are delivered back to Vendor. If you, Customer, caused damage to the rentals, we will forfeit your security deposit.

Communicate with Vendor accordingly on the pickup and return details. Once Customers done using the rentals for their event, try to arrange for return immediately to prevent from forgetting.  

Security Deposit will be forfeited if Customer damage the rentals. Customer that frequently damage rented items will potentially be removed from the site.

Firstly, communicate with Vendor and get agreement on the extension and rescheduling. Once agreed by the Vendor, inform Pestamajlis so we can make the adjustment on the system. Rental period extension fee is calculated on prorate basis based on the Vendor rental period. If the Vendor is not agreed with the extension or rescheduling, that is the final decision.

Pestamajlis will investigate to determine why the Vendor did not fulfil the order as required. Unable to fulfil the order is a breach of terms of services, therefore appropriate action will be taken. Vendor that frequently cancel the order will potentially be removed from the site.

Delivery

There are no delivery services available on Pestamajlis unless stated otherwise.

All rentals delivery by default requires pickup or collection by the Customer. It depends on the Vendor, if they provide delivery service for their rentals.

Vendor delivery – if you are using Vendor’s delivery, the price is charge by the Vendor.

Customer delivery – you may check third-party logistics provider for the rate since the pickup and return is managed by you

Vendor Delivery – Vendor manage any issue during delivery to/from you.

Customer Delivery – You may check with Third-Party logistics provider for their insurance. Follow their procedure accordingly.

If the rental arrives damaged, please contact Vendor immediately to inform on the situation. Before delivery, ensure that Vendor share the photos of the items to validate that the items damaged during the delivery. Customer holds the responsibility during the shipment unless Vendor delivery

The items are solely under Customer’s responsibility during the use. If the rentals lost, stolen, damage or destroyed while in Customer’s possession, Customers are solely responsible.

First after get confirmation from the Vendor through chat, Customer places order on Pestamajlis.

Once the Vendor get the order confirmation, Vendor will communicate with Customer to get full details of the event.

Cancellation Policy

Each vendor has their own cancellation policy, so be sure to read it carefully before placing an order.

Customer finds the cancellation policy in any of these locations.

  • Located in their Vendor’s profile
  • Located in the listing description
  • Contact them to check their cancellation policy
  • Otherwise Customer should assume the rental/service is considered final and non-refundable for cancellation.

If no cancellation policy is provided, assume that the sale is final and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with the Vendor. Check with the Vendor to see if they have a cancellation policy that isn’t shared online.

By placing an order with the Vendor, the customer accepts full responsibility for reading, understanding, and agreeing to the Vendor’s Cancellation Policy, as well as committing to the Rental & Service Agreement.

Any changes to the Rental & Service Agreement, including the Cancellation Policy, should be discussed directly with the Vendor to reach a mutual agreement

Most Vendors, as an industry standard, do not allow cancellations within 24-72 hours of the event supply services, regardless of the reason (e.g., cancelled event, transportation issues, or change of mind).

Vendors incur costs in preparing items for each customer, including cleaning, assembling, packing, handling, preparing, coordinating, and opportunity costs. If you think you may need to cancel an order, do so well in advance.

Pestamajlis does not control the Cancellation Policy however we have small fee for cancellation. We will adhere to the Vendor’s policy and can only assist with processing refunds once the Customer and Vendor have agreed to the cancellation.

  • If a Customer requests cancellation of an approved order, a fee of 10% of the event supply service/rental is charged to the Customer from the Pestamajlis. 
  • If a Vendor requests cancellation of an approved order, a fee of 20% of the event supply service/rental is charged to the Vendor.
  • We have cancellation fee to prevent Customer or Vendor to deal behind the Pestamajlis.

Customer Request for Cancellation: 10% Cancellation Fees from the Service/Rental Price to be paid to Pestamajlis. Vendor may have their cancellation fee which Customer can check in their cancellation policy or check with the directly.

Vendor Request for Cancellation: 20% Cancellation Fees from the Service/Rental price. For Vendor-initiated cancellations, the customer shall receive a full refund. If the Vendor does not accept the order, no charges will apply.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to check with the Vendor directly if there are any questions about the policy.

  1. Contact the appropriate Vendor with your cancellation request, providing details of the cancellation and requesting the Vendor process the refund.
  2. The customer will receive confirmation of the cancellation from the Vendor.
  3. The Vendor will inform Pestamajlis about the cancellation.
  4. Pestamajlis will process the refund for the customer accordingly.
