At Pestamajlis, we prioritize a fair and transparent approach to cancellations and refunds, ensuring both customers and vendors can plan their events with confidence. Please review our policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions governing cancellations and refunds.
Cancellations:
Pestamajlis manages all cancellation requests to ensure consistency and fairness. Cancellations, whether initiated by the customer or the vendor, will be reviewed and approved by Pestamajlis after a thorough assessment of the circumstances.
Customer-Initiated Cancellations:
- Customers can request a cancellation through the Pestamajlis platform. The request will be evaluated in line with Pestamajlis’ cancellation criteria.
- Cancellation requests should be submitted in a timely manner before the event to allow for proper consideration.
- If approved, refunds or rescheduling will be processed according to the terms of this policy.
Vendor-Initiated Cancellations:
- Vendors are required to notify Pestamajlis in case they need to cancel a service.
- Pestamajlis will communicate the cancellation to the customer and facilitate any necessary refund or compensation as per our guidelines.
Refunds:
Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
- Refunds will only be processed after a cancellation has been approved by Pestamajlis.
- The refund amount will be determined based on the stage of the booking and the proximity to the event date.
- Some bookings may be non-refundable or subject to partial refunds, depending on the service agreement and the timeline of the cancellation request.
Rescheduling:
Customers may reschedule their event service or rental at no additional cost if the request is made more than 5 days in advance of the original rental or event service date.
Important Guidelines:
- All vendors are required to adhere to the Pestamajlis cancellation and refund policy to ensure uniformity and fairness across all listings.

Pestamajlis reserves the right to make the final decision on all cancellation and refund requests to ensure fairness and transparency for both parties.
Cancellation Timeframes:
Cancellations 5 Days or More Before the Booking Date:
- Customers will receive a 90% refund, with Pestamajlis imposing a 10% penalty fee or re-schedule. Reschedule must be made 5 days in advance.
Cancellations 2-4 Days Before the Booking Date:
- Customers will receive a 60% refund.
- Vendors will be compensated with 30% of the booking amount.
- Pestamajlis will impose a 10% penalty fee.
- If customer choose to reschedule, re-scheduling fee 20% (10% Vendor Compensation + 10% Pestamajlis Re-scheduling Fee) is imposed.
Cancellations Within 48 Hours of the Booking:
- Customers will receive a 10% refund.
- Vendors will receive 80% of the booking amount.
- Pestamajlis will impose a 10% penalty fee.
- No re-scheduling within 48 hours is allowed.
Rescheduling:
Customers may reschedule their event service or rental at no additional cost if the request is made more than 5 days in advance of the original event service/rental date. Re-scheduling is only allowed prior 2 days of the event. Less than 48 hours no rescheduling is allowed.
Vendor Cancellations
If a vendor initiates the cancellation of an approved order, the following terms apply:
Cancellation Fee: Vendors will be charged a 20% fee of the total event service or rental amount.
Commission Fee: Any Commission Fee previously charged by Pestamajlis to the vendor will be non-refundable in the event of a vendor-initiated cancellation.
- Total Fees: Cancellation Fees 20% + Commission Fees 15% (For Most Cases) = 35%
Customer Refund: In all vendor-initiated cancellations, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the service or rental.
Order Non-Acceptance: If the vendor does not accept the order prior to confirmation, no charges or fees will apply to either party.
This policy ensures that vendors remain accountable for cancellations while protecting customer interests.
Vendor Failure:
In the event that a vendor is missing in action or fails to perform their agreed-upon service, customers are eligible for a full 100% refund.
This policy ensures a fair distribution of refunds between the customer, vendor, and Pestamajlis while maintaining clear guidelines for both parties.
Customer-Initiated Changes:
- Customer can request changes to their bookings (e.g., date, time, items) based on availability of the services/rental by the Vendor.
- Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Vendor-Initiated Changes:
- Vendors must inform customers of any necessary changes as soon as possible.
- If the customer is not satisfied with the changes, they may be eligible for a full refund.
- Vendor cancellation policy may applies and cancellations fees may applies.
Dispute Process:
- For disputes regarding cancellations or refunds, customers and vendors should contact our customer support team.
- We will mediate to reach a fair resolution.
Final Decision:
- Our decision on disputes will be final, taking into account the terms of this policy and the specific circumstances of the case.
Force Majeure:
- Neither party shall be liable for cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, acts of God, or government restrictions. In such cases, a refund or rescheduling may be offered subject to this Policy.
Safety:
- If an event is cancelled due to safety concerns (e.g., a pandemic or war or curfew), refunds or rescheduling options will be considered based on the latest government guidelines and advisories.
- Contact the appropriate Vendor with your cancellation request, providing details of the cancellation and requesting the Vendor to process the refund based on their policy.
- The Customer will receive confirmation of the cancellation from the Vendor.
- The Vendor will inform Pestamajlis about the cancellation.
- Pestamajlis will process the refund for the customer accordingly.
Updates to Policy:
- Pestamajlis reserve the right to amend this cancellation and refund policy at any time.
- Customers and Vendors will be notified of significant changes to the policy.
